Lucky for us folks who are always cold turtlenecks are back in!  And they’re the perfect layering piece.  Layering a turtleneck under a chic cape is a modern way to wear winter layers.  This mark. It’s like layers for your legs!  The extra insulation helps ward off winter’s cold while looking super chic!  I like a good heeled one but there are so many cute flat boots or even a mini heel.  Mine are an old pair from Shoedazzle but check out a few tall boots I like here, here and here.

When wearing lots of layers, accessories sometimes get lost.  Try layering a long necklaces over your layers, it won’t add bulk to your already bulky layers and helps draw the eye down keeping a long and lean look.  I like this mark. Feathered Friends Necklace which will work just as well in the winter/spring/summer/fall.   This winter try layered earrings like these mark. Ruffle Your Feathers Earring Set, ear jackets and cuffs are a huge trend this year. Finish off your look with a bag big enough for a long winter weekend with the mark. Carry All Handbag

“The Holidays are the perfect time to break out the winter color palette. Think whites, greys and light blues. To help keep you warm, throw on a faux fur vest. The “make me plush vest” by mark is just perfect with it’s faux fur collar and super soft, short faux fur lining. Then, to finish things off, you can’t go wrong with a great pair of booties.”  (read more)

This winter try a little apres ski with your look.  Think cozy, cute and comfy for lounging in a chic cabin or lodge.  This winter the Aspen chic look is trending, try it with key pieces like an aztec print cape and faux fur vest like in Jill’s look.  You can shop these pieces here.

I got my normal size small, you could size down or up because it’s just a cape. Maybe the length would change…
